Nancy's New Creations

Nancy called in last night for a bit of late night shopping & showed me her latest creations
We call Nancy the flower Queen - she can makes flowers out of anything.....

Satin wire edged ribbon, tulle maribou feathers, pearls,beads & flowers

Quilt Blocks 3 & 4

Here are the next 2 Blocks from the online class I am doing with Craftsy 
These are half square triangles - 2 different techniques

Yeah, yeah I know i should unpick that half square triangle - but I don't do unpicking....
Besides it makes the block uniquely mine .....
Not sure if I mentioned it before but I am using materials I bought in the USA in 2005.

Took a few days, there is heaps of cutting out - not my favorite thing to do....
Still needs some metal etc just have to wait till the Rock Candy Crackle is dry on the cover.

Graphic 45 Little Darlings

Ruth & Karen came over last night & we just cropped.
Karen was doing a Zoology project & I was doing
Graphic 45 Little Darlings Wallet.
Ruth was advising us on our projects
I have a difficult time with "baby stuff" - pastel colours.
So her suggestions were very helpful.
I have used Lila's photos in the wallet. (Michael's grand daughter)
She is growing up so fast.
He would be so besotted with her.
